St. Damian School provides an affordable and exceptional Early Childhood Program for three and four year olds. Parents choose between half and full day options for three, four, or five days a week. The Archdiocese of Chicago has a long history and rich tradition of providing excellent education in its Catholic schools beginning with early childhood. St. Damian is no exception.
Our students participate in full English Language Arts and Math preschool curriculums as well as Fine Arts, Physical Education, Religion, Science, and Social Studies. A majority of our students continue on with us throughout their elementary school career. Our programs follow Illinois State Board of Education Early Learning Standards and Kindergarten Standards. Teachers have Bachelors degrees and state certification. Each classroom has an instructional aide and enrollment is limited to meet adult/child ratio and group size requirements.

Pre K Four Curriculum
Our early childhood programs also strive to meet the needs of young children and their families by providing before and/or after school care, as well as a hot lunch program.
