This will be my 7th year at St. Damian’s where I love teaching and the joy and fulfillment of sharing my faith on a daily basis with my students. It’s not an overstatement to share that my spiritual and community life has centered around St. Damian Parish and School since I was born. I was baptized here and I attended St. Damian School as a child and my husband and I have been happy and blessed to see our three children do the same.  While still in college, I helped to start the Extended Day Program at St. Damian.  After graduating from St. Xavier, I taught 4th and 5th grade for CPS at Parker Community Elementary.  After starting our family, I then left the classroom to be at home with our children but continued to work in the education field at Huntington Learning Center as Lead Teacher.  My husband and I believe strongly in the mission of Catholic Education and I am now blessed to be part of that mission with this wonderful St. Damian family!  When I am not at school, I enjoy time with family and friends, music, traveling and all things sports (watching, playing and big Chicago sports fan).
